15×20 cm prints — first real wall photo.
The size where prints start to have wall presence. Looks settled in a frame, but doesn't dominate the room. €1.90 each.
Framed, desk-bound, part of daily view.
15×20 is where photo-album mode fades and wall-display takes over. Inside a frame it feels substantial — won't disappear into the wall, but doesn't take over.
- Framed wall photo — fits 20×25, 20×30 or 30×40 frame with a mat
- On the desk — feels substantial, not photo-card
- Part of a gallery wall — standard size for a multi-print arrangement
- Milestone prints — wedding shots, first-year baby photos, trips that matter
Dimensions and paper.
4:3 means a 3:2 camera frame needs minimal crop on the long edge. Square (1:1) photos: try a square print size or crop before ordering.
Framed → matte, no border.
For most 15×20 use we recommend matte. Reason: glossy paper under frame glass reflects, making the photo harder to read from certain angles. Matte stays neutral — look at the photo, not at a reflection.
Exceptions:
- Evening / low-light photo → glossy, contrast wins
- Polaroid-style display → matte + Polaroid border (note area at the bottom)
- On a desk → either works — reflections rarely a concern
